Mr. T 's Thursday Blogger

Change in our society is driven by many factors; some of which include the United States, technology, and religion. Many nations, as we have discovered, look at the United States as a role model for how they should act. The media in the US clearly has the largest influence upon other nations. For much of the society in other countries, media is the only form of contact they have with the United States and their latest trends. Clearly the US affects more than just how others think and act. Citizens constantly have a desire to have the latest and greatest innovation, whether it be the newest, fastest car, the thinnest cell phone, or the latest spear to hunt food with, people always have a desire to want a better product. In return, this encourages companies to constantly create a newer, improved item to sell to the public. This effects the economy, creating a change throughout the world. Lastly, religion has always had and always will have a huge influence upon society. Religion influences the society's morals and, in return, changes the products people buy etc. All of these factors have driven change throughout different societies throughout the ages. Change is constantly occurring, determined ultimately by society as a whole; however, many other factors contribute to this change. Change has always occurred in many of the same ways that we see nowadays.
