The Friday Bloggerlicious

Well, as I stated earlier, I think change is driven by changes in technology. Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of the Gutenberg Press, truly changed society. His invention changed the world, allowing books to be read more frequently, literacy rates to increase, and led the way through the Renaissance. His invention is still used nowadays, which is pretty amazing considering what a little percent of inventions are used 600 years later. His invention has practically influenced everything which we use nowadays. Everything from papers we print out to labels on water bottles has been influenced by this wonderful technology. His invention is yet another reminder of how individuals can have huge impacts on a large society.

Mr. T 's Thursday Blogger

Change in our society is driven by many factors; some of which include the United States, technology, and religion. Many nations, as we have discovered, look at the United States as a role model for how they should act. The media in the US clearly has the largest influence upon other nations. For much of the society in other countries, media is the only form of contact they have with the United States and their latest trends. Clearly the US affects more than just how others think and act. Citizens constantly have a desire to have the latest and greatest innovation, whether it be the newest, fastest car, the thinnest cell phone, or the latest spear to hunt food with, people always have a desire to want a better product. In return, this encourages companies to constantly create a newer, improved item to sell to the public. This effects the economy, creating a change throughout the world. Lastly, religion has always had and always will have a huge influence upon society. Religion influences the society's morals and, in return, changes the products people buy etc. All of these factors have driven change throughout different societies throughout the ages. Change is constantly occurring, determined ultimately by society as a whole; however, many other factors contribute to this change. Change has always occurred in many of the same ways that we see nowadays.

UPDATES

NOW, this fourth and twentieth day of January, two thousand and eight, I am still typing on the blog, waiting impatiently for MR T to fix carolyn's key board. The apostrophe and bracket keys are broken, so I will include some in my text just for her.

THESE ARE DEDICATED TO YOU CAROLYN
' " ' " " "'''''"''''""'""'"'""''"'" }]]]}]}}}}]]]]]}]}]}]}]]]]}]}]}]]]]}}]}}]]]}]}]]}]}]}} :)

HEY MR T

so once upon a time, there was this wacko teacher, mr t, who decided to let his students run wild and create a blog. It was a really really fun assignment, but pretty pointless. So that left his most favoritest student EVER to write random things for like 30 minutes. She kinda went CrAZy, but her blog ended up containing much truth within the posts. So now she will write yet another post, and eventually class will be over !!!!

Hannah's Magical Adventure

Once upon a time, hannah was wondering why the coolest person ever, carolyn courage, was so amazingly cool! She eventually decided that it was because she was an individual and stood out from the crowd (in a good way) and was pretty much a princess who owned her own country. Hannah wanted to be just like her, so carolyn made hannah a some cake with a special ingredient (how carolyn became so rich and famous) and it made hannah almost as cool and amazing as carolyn. They found 2 prince charming's, who were the hottest men alive, and married them. They had the most beautiful wedding; full of panzies and beaches. They adopted poor, starving children (17 in fact) from Uganda (which is spelled like it's spelled, at least according to carolyn when i asked her how to spell it... lol) They now are the coolest people in the world, and in fact, own the entire world; which pretty much led to world peace. Now, instead of the land of the free, it is the land of hippies, lullabies and soccer !!! :)
